Johnson Law, P.A.
I have maintained a general and diversified practice in Wichita, Kansas, since 1975, which has allowed me to provide a full range of service to my clients. In this fashion my clients receive a personal approach to the attorney-client relationship instead of being referred to an unknown attorney as may occur in many large firms or having a paralegal doing much of the work. Emphasis is now placed on DEBT COLLECTION and PROBATE & ESTATE matters. Thiswould include the drafting of Last Will and Testaments, Durable Financial Power of Attorneys, Durable Health Care Power of Attorneys, Living Wills, and all related documents. The broad range of involvement in the practice of law has led to my appointment as the Municipal Court Judge for the City of Rose Hill, Kansas, and serving in the capacity as Pro Tempore Municipal Court Judge for the City of Wichita, Kansas, for the City of Maize, Kansas, for the City of Clearwater, Kansas, and for the City of Mulvane, Kansas. COLLECTIONS include the representation of finance companies, banks, apartment complexes, food service providers, homeowner associations, credit unions, collection agencies, and various other business entities. This also allows for the collection of individual obligations owed by one individual to another. PROBATE and WILLS deals with the distribution of an individual's property at his or her death and includes the probate of wills and the administration of intestate estates, descent and distribution proceedings, simplified administration proceedings, and the drafting of Wills and Power of Attorney documents. I have served in the capacity as Executor, Administrator, and Conservator which are positions that require ability to be bonded. I have had the privilege of serving as the President and presently as the Vice-President of the Sedgwick County Collection Attorneys. As an active member of the Wichita Bar Association, I have been involved in organizing a portion of the annual Judges Day activities which is sponsored by the Wichita Bar Association.
Fred A. Johnson has been practicing law since 1975 with over forty years of experience. The firm is a small, casual, and personable law firm. We are accessible to our clients, and our clients receive a personal approach to the attorney-client relationship instead of being referred to an unknown attorney or paralegal, as may occur in many large firms.
